Dear Teachers, Studio Owners, Parents and Dancers,

These are difficult times for everyone. We are reminded how important your support and loyalty has been.  On behalf of the entire Tremaine Dance family we thank you and send our prayers and best wishes to you and your families. We are grateful to be a part of your dance journey and appreciate your trust in Tremaine.

As we all deal with the uncertainty of the COVID-19, Coronavirus, it is important to remember that we are all in this together. Our primary concern is the health and wellbeing of our extended dance families around the country and the world and hope that we are able to collectively slow the spread of the virus. We are doing our part by heeding the recommendations of state and federal officials including hand-washing, practicing social distancing, as well as abiding by the “safer at home” order and closure of non-essential businesses in our state.

As you are aware this crisis has forced us to postpone several of our events including the Boston, Tulsa, Winston-Salem and Los Angeles conventions. We have been looking at options to reschedule these events but due to the crisis everything is uncertain at this time. We remain hopeful that this situation will come to an end very soon, and in addition to working with our venues for rescheduled dates we are also preparing for a very exciting summer tour with lots of surprises at nationals. We will keep you posted as updates become available.

During this unprecedented time we are all faced with many unknown circumstances and sincerely appreciate how patient you have been as we sort through these challenges. We understand that you have questions and rightfully so. As we continue to wait for responses from our venues and further clarity on the government relief programs we apologize for the delay in communication. With that said, please watch for an email being sent to all those affected by the postponements that will provide important information related to your convention and competition entry fees.

Although our office is currently closed due to the “safer at home” order in effect in the state of California, all staff are working from home and may be reached via their respective email addresses or at

We know that the uncertainty of this situation is very stressful but we want you to know that, as always, we are here for you and hope we can still be a resource for you during these difficult times. We look forward to dancing with you again soon.

Kind regards,
Tremaine Dance Conventions
